And another one…
This one is inspired after a book,
S.-D. Goiten,
«The main industries of the Mediterranean area as reflected in the records of the Cairo Geniza».
Journal of the Economic and Social History of Orient, Vol IV, Part 1, February 1961, p 180-182.
It looks really long and all, but it's fascinating. It describes the list of rugs from a merchant.
One like gazelle blood, one like pure purple, one like musc, one silver, one intense yellow and two other ones pur white, clean, yellow on the edges…
Anyhow, I'd like to do it in silkscreen. Mixing ink into a nice gazelle blood. Sounds fun.
